David Voogd is an industry icon. Having spent over 40 years working in every aspect of the fashion and
entertainment industry. Voogd started his career in 1976 as a model for Zoli - New York. He traveled
internationally for several years working for Ugly People in Italy and Askew in Japan, before landing in
Chicago to complete his MBA in Marketing and Advertising at Northwestern.
During his days in Chicago, David began working with David & Lee, a talent group that would later
become Ford Models. Over the course of 3 years, he appeared in 23 national commercials for such
clients as Burger King, Levi's, Wink Cola, and VISA.
Over the years David has built a number of great credits - working with Miss Universe, serving as a
preliminary judge for American Idol, owning a small group of modeling agencies, and developing David
Voogd, INC., a large promotional company. He has also worked, owned, and wrote training programs for a
number of modeling and acting schools, and continues to participate in some aspect of the school
business.
The last several years, David has been the owner and Senior Partner with a large talent management
group called Crawford Talent Management. The agency was started in February of 2003, and continues
to grow, with offices in the United States, England, China, India, and Dubai. Crawford is a combination
talent management group, public relation firms, and advertising agencies. David has worked with such
major stars as Sandra Bullock, Vanessa Williams, January Jones, and Hallie Berry. He discovered and
developed Davis Cleveland from Disney's "Shake It Up", in additional to a number of other young stars
now working in Hollywood. To date, his most successful child star is Albert Tsai who can immediately be
seen on CBS's "9JKL". Albert is the only child ever nominated for a Critic's Choice award for his work on
"Trophy Wife".
One of his major passions grew from a scouting job with Elite Model Management, were he began doing
make-up, styling, and photography. His photography work has grown to be recognized internationally.
David continues to run both Crawford and Heritage Belongings Estate Sales. He is the most recognized
acting and talent scout in the nation.
